Ingredients
- 1 lb dry beans
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1/8 cup sugar
- 2 tbs. dry mustard
- 1/2 - 1/3 cup ketchup
- 1 small onion, quartered
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1/4 tsp ginger
- 1 clover garlic, minced

Preparation
Step 1
Inspect and rinse beans. Add 2 quarts of water and bring to a rapid boil for two minutes. Set aside for one hour. In a bean pot, add 1/2 pint hot water, onion and all spices. Mix well. Then add drained beans with hot water one inch above beans. Bake @ 300 for approximately 6 hours. Add water as needed.
