Ingredients

  • 5 cups flour, divided
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp. quick rising instant yeast
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 1/4 cup olive oil

Preparation

Step 1

mix 4 cups flour, cheese, yeast and salt in a large bowl

add oil and water, mix until it forms a soft dough.
knead on a lightly floured surface about 5 minutes or until dough is smooth and elastic, gradually adding remaining flour.

cut dough into 4 equal pieces, spray each piece with cooking spray.
if using imediately cover each piece loosely with plastic wrap and let stand 15 minutes.

remaining dough can be stored in a freezer bag that has been sprayed with cooking spray. can store in the freezer up to 3 months. thaw before using.
