Ingredients
- 2 quarts Stock (Honey-baked ham-bone base)
- 2 Onions, diced
- 6 Carrots, sliced
- 4 Celery stalks, sliced
- 3 cans Tomato Sauce
- 3 cups Lentils
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 1 tsp. Pepper
- 1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder
- 2 tsp. Basil (dried)
- 2 tsp. Tumeric
- 1 tsp. Cummin
- 1 tsp. Cinnamon

Preparation
Step 1
Combine first 5 ingredients. Bring to a boil. Simmer until carrots are almost tender and then add lentils, salt, pepper, garlic, basil and turmeric. Simmer until lentils are mushy. Add cinnamon and cummin and simmer 10 more minutes. Stir occasionally.
