BLUEBERRY SAUCE

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Blueberries
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
  • Dash Nutmeg (optional)
  • 1/2 Tsp Vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

In 2 qt. saucepan combine blueberries, sugar, lemon juice & nutmeg. Bring to boil, reduce heat & simmer for 15 mins.
Remove from heat, stir in vanilla - Cool - Makes 1 Cup


If you want to thicken this sauce- Stir a little water into 2 Tbsps. cornstarch. Stir into simmered berries, stir until thickened, remove from heat and stir in vanilla & 1 tbsp margarine.
