Curried Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 3 lb. fyer, cut up
  • 3 tblsp. Butter
  • 1 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 3/4 cups water, dvd.
  • 3 tsp. Chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 1/4 tsp. turmeric
  • 3/4 tsp. Chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp. Cardamom
  • 1/4 tsp.ginger
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 3 tsp. Flour

Preparation

Step 1

Brown chicken in a large heavy pan. Remove and sauté onion and garlic till tender. Add the chicken and 2 cups of the water and bouillon seasonings and tomatoes, cubed. Cover and simmer till chicken is very tender. Mix the flour into remaining water.and add to thicken. Serve over rice.
