Ingredients
- 8 oz of elbow macaroni
- 2 cups of milk
- 2 T butter
- 2 T flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 (10 oz) block of sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes

Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 400* Prepare elbow macaroni according to package.
2. Microwave milk on HIGH for 11/2 minutes
3. Melt butter i dutch oven. Add flour and stir till smooth. cook for 1 minute.
4. Gradually whisk in milk. stir constantly for 5 minutes. it will thicken. Add salt, pepper and 1 cup of cheese. Add red pepper.
5. spoon into greased 2 QT dish. add remaining cheese to top.
6. Bake for 20 minutes.
