Grilled Fries

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon sea or kosher salt
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 2 medium baking potatoes, each cut into 12 wedges (about 1 1/2 pounds)
  • 2 medium sweet potatoes, each cut into 12 wedges (about 1 1/2 pounds)

Preparation

Step 1

Combine 1 teaspoon salt, paprika, 1 teaspoon pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and chili powder.

Combine oil and potatoes in a large bowl, tossing to coat.

Sprinkle potatoes with paprika mixture; toss gently to coat.

Place potatoes on grill rack coated with cooking spray over medium heat; grill 18 minutes or until sweet potatoes are tender, turning occasionally.

Remove sweet potatoes; keep warm. Grill baking potatoes an additional 6 minutes or until tender.
