  • Oil
  • Onion
  • Garlic Salt
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Parsley
  • 28oz can of tomatoes sauce
  • Water
  • 1 can of peas
  • 1 box of shell pasta

Preparation

Step 1

Pour small amount of oil in pan, add onion, saute.

Add garlic salt, parsley, salt and pepper. Then add your whole can of tomato sauce.

Stir.
Fill empty can 1/2 full of water, add to pot. Let mixture simmer.

Add whole can of peas, liquid included. Simmer, but not too long.

In a separate pot, prepare pasta.

when pasta is ready, add some of the gravy, but not all of it, it will absorb all of the liquid.

*I use frozen peas, Mom-mom was not a fan of the frozen pea addition to her recipe, she said you need the pea liquid for flavor. Sometimes I add more water, if I think it needs it.
