No Peek Stew

Ingredients

  • 6 carrots, peeled and thickly sliced
  • 3 potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 stalks celery, sliced into 1 inch pieces
  • 2 lbs. stew beef, cubed
  • 1/4 cup plain flour
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tbsp.salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 14 oz. can tomato sauce

Preparation

Step 1

Arrange vegetables in a slow cooker. Top with beef cubes. Blend flour, sugar, salt and pepper. Sprinkle over meat. Pour tomato sauce over top. Cover and cook on low setting for 8 to 9 hours. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
