Chocolate Cobbler

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1-1/2 cup self rising flour
  • 2-1/2 cups sugar, divided
  • 1/2 cup plus 1 tbsp. baking cocoa, divided
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla
  • 2-1/4 cup boiling water

Preparation

Step 1

Spread butter in a 13" x 9" glass baking pan. Set aside. Combine flour, 1 cup sugar, 3 tbsp. cocoa, milk and vanilla. Pour into pan. Mix together remaining sugar and cocoa. Sprinkle over top. Pour boiling water over top. Do no stir. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 - 45 minutes. Makes 12 to 14 servings.
