Sour Cream Pound Cake (2)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 cups flour, sifted
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 pint sour cream
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter well. Gradually add sugar, cream again. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Sift together four and baking soda. Gradually add to butter mixture, alternating flour with sour cream. Add vanilla. Pour into oiled tube or Bundt pan. Bake at 325 degrees fro 1-1/2 hours or until cake tests done. Let cake cool in pan for 5 minutes. Gently remove.
