Panucci Fudge

This is a recipe from my Great Aunt. Maple flavor.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups light brown sugar lightly packed
  • 1/2 scant cup evaporated milk (a little less than 1/2 cup)
  • 1/2 pad of butter
  • 3-4 drops of vanilla flavoring

Preparation

Step 1

Put sugar and milk in pot and stir until combined.

Bring to boil all around the pot including the center of the mixture. Once all is boiling lightly, lower heat so that all boils and set timer for 8 minutes.

At the very end add butter 1/4 to 1/2 inch pad. Plus stir in a few drops of vanilla.

Remove form heat and put in sink with water and stir until it begins to thicken. Then pour into pan and refrigerate.
