Ingredients
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 2 Tbsp flour
- 1 can beef broth
- 1 1/2 cups 2% milk
- 1 pkg frozen chopped broccoli
- 1 tsp ground mustard
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Preparation
Step 1
In a lg saucepan, saute onion and garlic in butter until tender. Stir in flour until blended. Gradually stir in broth; bring to a boil. Cook and stir for 2 minutes
Stir in the milk, broccoli, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and nutmeg. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 6-8 minutes or until heated through. Stir in cheese until melted.
