SMOKED SAUSAGE KABOBS

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. smoked sausage, cut into 1-inch chunks
  • 2 ears corn
  • 2 med. summer squash
  • 1 med. red onion. cut into eight wedges, seperate each wedge in half
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1/2 green peper, cut into chunks
  • 8 med. mushrooms
  • 8 cherry tomatoes

Step 1

Prepare grill so coals are medium. Microwave ears of corn in husks for 8 minutes. Remove husks and silk, trim and cut each ear into 1-inch sections. Pierce squash with fork, microwave for 6 minutes. Cut each squash into four wedges. Arrange sausage and vegetables on skewers. Place skewers on grill; brush with herb butter basting sauce. Grill 15 minutes, turning and brushing occasionally with sauce.
