Pasta Bow Ties with Spinach and Bacon

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg (12 oz) bow tie pasta uncooked
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 pkg (10 oz) frozen chopped spinach, thawed
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 12 oz bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled
  • Pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

1. Cook pasta as directed on package. Drain pasta, reserving 1/2 cup cooking water.
2. Heat oil and garlic in large skillet on medium heat 1 minute. Increase heat to medium-high, add spinach, wine and reserved 1/2 cup cooking water. Cook and stir until thoroughly heated.
3. Ross pasta and cheese with spinach mixture; sprinkle with bacon. Season with pepper to taste.
