Ingredients

  • 3 medium green peppers
  • 1 beef bouillion cube
  • 6 oz can tomato paste
  • 1 c water
  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1 1/2 c cooked rice
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1.2 tsp Italian seasonging
  • 1 c shredded Mozzarella
  • 1/2 c chopped onion
  • 1/2 can spaghetti sauce

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375.
Cut peppers in half lengthwise. Remove seeds and membrane. Sprinkle with salt. place in 2 quart baking dish.

Dissolve cube in tomato paste and water in small bowl. Set aside.

In 10" skillet cook beef, onions and garlic until beef loses redness. Drain off fat. Add rice, italian herbs, 1/2 tsp salt. half paste mixture and half mozzarella.

Fill peppers with equal amounts of beef mixture. Top with remaining paste mixture and mozzarella. Pour spaghetti sauce over and around peppers.

Cover and bake 45 minutes.
