Ingredients
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1/2 lb ground pork
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 scallions, chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons fresh ginger, minced (cut this in half if you don't love ginger!)
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1-2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1-2 tablespoons fresh ginger, minced
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1/4 cup plum sauce
Preparation
Step 1
In large bowl, combine all of meatball ingredients except vegetable oil. Use your hands and mix lightly, just until mixed. Form into tablespoon sized meatballs. Set aside.
In large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add tmeatballs and brown on all sides. Transfer meatballs to slow cooker.
In medium bowl, combine all of sauce ingredients. Pour over the meatballs.
