Microwave Peanut Crunch

Ingredients

• 1 cup sugar
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/2 cup butter
• 1/4 cup water
• 1/2 tsp vanilla
• 1 cup peanuts
• 1 6 oz. pck. semi-sweet chocolate pieces

Preparation

Step 1

Lightly butter a cookie sheet and set aside. In medium glass bowl, combine sugar, salt, butter and water. Cook on hihg 8 to 10 minutes or until mixture turns a light brown. remove from microwave and stir in vanilla and 1/2 cup peanuts.

Pour onto cookie sheet. Sprinkle chocolate pieces over top and let melt. Spread evenly over mixgture and sprinkle with remaining chopped peanuts. when cool, break into small pieces and store in an airtight container.
