  • 5 eggs
  • 1 C. sugar
  • 3 T. melted butter
  • 1 C. evaporated milk
  • 1 C. water
  • 1/2 t. vanilla extract
  • 1/4 t. salt
  • 1/2 t. nutmeg
  • 1 9 inch unbaked pie shell

Step 1

Beat eggs on high until fluffy. Add sugar and beat well, add melted butter, evaporated milk, water and vanilla extract. Add salt just before pouring into pie shell, sprinkle nutmeg on top of unbaked pie.

Bake at 425 F for 15 minutes then reduce heat to 350 F and bake for another 15 minutes.
