• 1 head red cabbage, shredded
• 1 c sugar
• 1 Tbs chicken base
• 1 c applesauce
• 1/2 + c red wine vinegar
• 1 large apple, peeled and sliced

Mix all in alrge pot and cook over medium low heat, stirring constantly. Reduce by half. Takes a while.
