RITZ CRAKER SQUARES

Ingredients

  • 6 egg whites
  • 2 C. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 50 ritz crackers, crushed
  • 1 C. nuts, chopped
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Beat egg whites, adding salt and sugar gradually (making a meringue). Add vanilla and fold in ritz crackers and nuts. Generously butter a 9 by 13 inch pan. Spread mixture in pan. Bake at 325F for 35 minutes. Cool 1 1/2 hours. Before serving top with whipped cream.
