Stovetop Turkey

We have always cooked our turkey on the stove and it makes it very moist. The meat just falls off the bone. So if presentation doesn't matter, choose this!

Ingredients
- 8-10 lb Honey Suckle White Turkey
- Butter
- 1 Onion chopped large
- Celery chopped large
- Garlic Salt
- S&P
- 2 Bay Leaves

Preparation
Step 1
Rinse turkey, empty both ends & trash
Put all ingredients inside turkey
Season under the skin too
Place turkey pan over 2 burners (m-l)
Cook turkey breast side up in 1 1/2" of water for approx. 3 hours

Be sure to remove liquid for stuffing before removing meat
