Coconut Candy

This is delicious confection that can be made with the chocolate coating or without.

Ingredients

  • 16 Ounces Coconut
  • 1/4 Pound Butter, melted
  • 16 Ounces confectioner's Sugar
  • 1 Can Eagle Brand Condensed Cream
  • 1 C Chopped Pecans
  • 12 Ounces Semi Sweet Chocolate
  • 1/2 stick of Parafan Wax

Preparation

Step 1

Mix Coconut, Butter, Confectioner's Sugar, Condensed Cream, and Pecans together. Roll small amounts of mixture into balls and place in the freeser for at least an hour. To make the Chocolate Coating: melt the Semi-Sweet Chocolate and Paraffin wax in a double boiler. Remove candy from the freezer and insert a tooth pick in each ball. Dip the balls quickly into the chocolate and place them on a piece of wax paper to until chocolate cools. Place in the refrigerator. This candy is best served cold.
