Ingredients
- 2 1/4 c flour
- 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 c cold butter, cubed
- 1 c shredded cheddar
- 3 T minced fresh chived
- 1 c buttermilk

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 425
Whisk together 1st 5 ingredients
Cut in butter until crumbs
Stir in cheddar and chives
Add buttermilk and stir until just moistened
Turn onto floured surface and knead 8-10 times
Roll dough to 1/4 " and cut with biscuit cutter
Place 2" apart on greased pan
Bake 10-12 until golden
