Sausage Stroganoff

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Jimmy Dean Sausage
  • 1/2 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1 egg,slightly beaten
  • 1/2 fine bread crumbs
  • 1/2 lb fresh mushrooms,sliced
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 3 tbsp margarine
  • 4 tbsp,flour
  • 1 can (14 1/2) beef broth
  • 1 c. light cream
  • 1/4 c. chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp,garlic salt
  • 1 c. dairy sour cream
  • cooked noodles

Preparation

Step 1

Combine sausage,beef,1/4 cup onion,egg and bread crumbs.Forn into 1/2 "balls and cook in a large skillet until browned on all sides;drain thoroughly.In separate skillet saute mushrooms and 1/4 cup onion in margarine;blend in flour Stir in remaining ingredeints except sour cream.Add cooked sausage balls and simmer 15 minutes.Turn heat to low and stir in sour cream.Remove from heat immediately.Serve over noodles and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
