Ingredients
- 1 1?8 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
- 1/4 cup + 2 Tbsp Truvía® Baking Blend
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup (6 oz.) chocolate chips
- 1/2 Tbsp molasses (optional)*
- Adding molasses will give cookies a darker color and richer flavor. This will affect nutritionals.
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375° F.Combine flour, salt and baking soda in a small bowl.
Beat butter, Truvía® Baking Blend and vanilla (and optional molasses) in a separate large mixing bowl. Mix in egg.
Gradually stir in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop rounded tablespoon on cookie sheets and press down to slightly flatten.
Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until lightly browned.
