Gooey Caramel Brownies

Ingredients

  • Cake:
  • 1 German Chocolate Cake mix, dry
  • 1/3 C. Evaporated Milk
  • 3/4 C. Butter, melted
  • 1 C. chopped Nuts
  • Topping:
  • 50 Caramels
  • 1/2 C. Evaporated milk
  • 1 C. Milk Chocolate Chips

Preparation

Step 1

Unwrap caramels 1st before beginning cake.

Mix together cake mix, 1/3 C. evaporated milk, melted butter & chopped nuts. Spread 1/2 of this mixture in a greased & floured 9x13 pan. BAKE 350° for 6 minutes.

Melt caramels & 1/2 C. evaporated milk and then pour over dough. Sprinkle chocolate chips over caramel sauce. Crumble remaining dough on top and BAKE for 20 more minutes.
