Ingredients
- 2 T. Olive Oil
- 2 T. Butter
- 2-3 cloves Fresh Garlic
- 1 T. Flour
- 3 C. Heavy Cream
- 1 C. Milk
- 8 oz. fresh Parmesan Cheese, grated
- 1 t. dried Basil or 4 T. fresh-chopped basil leaves
- Salt & freshly ground Pepper to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Gently saute fresh garlic in oil & butter. Keep heat to low and sprinkle in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes, careful not to burn the garlic. Stir in cream and milk. Bring to a gentle simmer until it begins to thicken. Add parmesan cheese, basil, salt & pepper, stirring until cheese is melted.
Serve over fettuccine or angel hair pasta. Can add cooked chicken breast to this.
