  • 1/3 C. butter only
  • 5 oz. block baking chocolate, melted
  • 1 C. bisquick mix
  • 3/4 C. granulated sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 C. marshmallows, mini
  • 1 Tbsp. butter (for frosting)
  • 3/4 C. sour cream
  • 1 1/3 C. powdered sugar



Step 1

Heat oven to 350, grease and flour 9" square pan. In a 2 qt. saucepan, melt butter 1/3 c. 2-1/2 oz. chocolate on low heat, only till melted, stir frequently. set aside to cool. (use only 1/2 the chocolate bar) Note: use 1/2 in the frosting in the bar batter. In a medium bowl; Add bisquick, sugar, vanilla, eggs with the chocolate, blend with electric mixer on low only about 30 sec. then beat on Med. for 1 more min. DO NOT OVER BEAT.. Spread batter in greased and floured pan. Bake 20-25 mins. or until toothpick incerted in the center comes out clean. Remove from oven. IMMEDIATELY spread with marshmallows. Cover this and let stand until marshmallows are softened at slightly melted stage, cool about 1 hr.

In a 2 qt. saucepan, melt remaining 2 1/2 oz. of chocolate with 1 Tbsp. butter, cool to warm stage. Stir in sour cream and powdered sugar, beat until smooth. Spread over the marshmallows evenly, place in refig. to cool for about 2 hours.
