Ingredients
- Topping:
- 2 sticks oleo
- 1/4 c. cocoas
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. water
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs well beaten
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 stick oleo
- 6 T. milk
- 1/4 c. cocoa
- 1 lb. powdered sugar (3 1/2 c.)
- 1 c. nuts
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
Step 1
Bring the 2 sticks of olea and water and 1/4 cup cocoa to a good boil, remove from stove and add sugar, flour that hav been mixed together. Add beaten eggs, buttermilk, soda and vanilla. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
In 10 minutes cook: Oleo, milk, cocoa bring to a boil. Add powdered sugar, nuts, vanilla. Ice cake while warm and cut into bars.
