Wickedly Easy Butterscotch

  • 2 c. glass measure
  • 1/2 c. heavy cream
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar

Preparation

Step 1

In a 2 cup glass measure, combine 1/2 cup heavy cream and 1/4 cup brown sugar, cover with vented plastic wrap. Cook on high until smooth and golden brown, about 5 minutes, stirring once. Add half a stick of butter cut in four chunks and stir until melted (butter provides the flavor here so splurge on the real thing). Serve warm; if you refrigerate it, reheat on defrost about 1 minute.
