Cheese and Bacon Quiche
- 1 frozen deep dish pie shell thawed
- 1 red pepper chopped/ 1/3 cup chopped white onion
- 2 green onions chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar/mozza cheese
- 1/3 cup cooked bacon pieces
- 5 eggs
- 1/3 cup mayo
- 1/3 cup milk
Preparation time 20mins
Cooking time 70mins
Heat oven to 400
Prick bottom and side of pie shell with fork. Bake 8 min or until lightly browned.
Meanwhile cook peppers and white onion in a skillet with a little olive oil over medium heat 5 minutes
Reduce oven to 375.
Spread pepper onion misture onto bottom of pie shell top with green onions, cheeses and bacon.
Whisk remaining ingredients until blended, pour over ingredients in pie shell.
Place on a rimmed baking sheet
bake 50 min or until knife inserted in centre comes out clean and top is golden brown
Let stand 10 minutes before cutting to serve
