Ramen Noodle Salad
This tasty Oriental Ramen Noodle salad is always requested for our family get togethers. It's easy to make and perfect for parties!
- 1 package Ramen Noodles, broken up (chicken flavor)
- 1 cup sunflower seeds
- 1 bunch green onions (cup up in small pieces, including stems)
- 1 16 oz. package slaw mix (lettuce, red cabbage, & carrots)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup oil (vegetable)
- 1/3 cup vinegar
- Spice packet from Ramen noodles
Preparation time 20mins
Cooking time 35mins

Crush up noodles and mix with other salad ingredients.
In a small saucepan, whisk together chicken flavor packet, oil, vinegar, & sugar. Heat until sugar is dissolved. (I do it in the microwave.)
Mix salad and dressing together and refrigerate at least 2 hours to soften noodles.
