  • 5 bags butter flavor microwave popcorn
  • 4 cubes butter
  • 2 lb. bag dark brown sugar
  • 1 C light Karo syrup
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 tsp. vanilla



Step 1

Heat oven to 250. Put butter, brown sugar, syrup and salt in heavy pot and boil to 248, stirring. Remove from heat and stir in baking soda and vanilla until light brown. Pour over popcorn and bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
