Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 large onion
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 2 medium sized potatoes
- milk
- salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Sauté onion in small amount of shortening. Add ground beef and brown thoroughly. Add the soup and mix well. In well buttered casserole, place thin layer of thinly sliced potatoes, layer of beef mixture and alternate - with potatoes as top layer. Use just enough milk to cover potatoes. Bake at 325º for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
