Ingredients
- 6 slices bread - no crust
- 6 Eggs
- 3 Cups Milk
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 Lb Pork Sausage - bulk
- 1 tsp Mustard
- 1.5 Cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese - (1/2 mild & 1/2 sharp)
- 1/2 Cup Onion - diced
- 1/2 Cup Green Pepper - diced
- 1/2 Cup Mushrooms - diced
Preparation
Step 1
Brown sausage with onion & green peppers, drain fat.
In a buttered 9 x 13 baking pan, place bread slices, then crumbled sausage, onion, peppers and mushrooms.
Beat eggs, add milk, salt & mustard, pour over sausage. Top with cheese.
Cover and refrigerate all night.
Bake at 350` for 45 minutes covered, then 15 minutes uncovered.
