- Box cake of your choosing(see suggestions below)
- Instant pudding of your choosing or pastry filling

Step 1
Bake a two layer cake. After the cake has cooled, slice each layer horizontally to make four layers.
Place the first half layer on the cake stand. Cover it with a layer of dessert or pastry filling or a pudding mix. Add another layer and repeat the filling. Do it again so that you have three layers with filling between them.
Take the last half layer and crumble it into coarse crumbs about 1/4 in in size or a little larger. Set aside.
Cover the top and the sides of the cake with more filling. Spread the crumbs across the top of the cake and gently press crumbs onto the sides. The cake should be covered with a layer of crumbs.
