Tangy Curry Tuna Salad Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup lowfat yogurt
  • 1/4 teaspoon curry powder
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped dill
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons seedless raisins
  • 1 can Tongol or Albacore Tuna (salted or unsalted), drained
  • Salt to taste
  • 6 slices whole wheat sandwich bread
  • 6 leaves butter lettuce

Preparation

Step 1

Put yogurt, curry powder, green onions, zest, dill, celery, raisins, tuna and salt into a large bowl and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, then spread on bread, top with lettuce and serve sandwiches.
