Swiss Bliss

Ingredients

  • 1/2 tablespoon margarine
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 pounds chuck steak, cut 1" thick
  • 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
  • dash pepper
  • 1/2 pound mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon steak sauce
  • 1/2 green pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 cup juice from canned tomatoes
  • 1 can tomatoes, drained and chopped (1 lb)

Preparation

Step 1

1. Spread center of a foil square (20") with margarine.

2. Cut steak into serving portions. Arrange on foil, slightly overlapping. Sprinkle with soup mix, mushrooms, green pepper, tomatoes. Season. Mix juice steak sauce and cornstarch. Pour over meat and vegetables. Bring foil up over and double fold edges to seal tightly.

3. Bake at 375 degrees, 2 hours.
