Self-Filled Cupcakes

Ingredients

• 1 package chocolate cake mix (and ingredients listed on box to make)
• 1 pkg (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
• 1 egg
• 1/3 cup sugar
• 1 pinch salt
• 1 pkg (6 oz) semisweet chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

1. Prepare chocolate cake mix as directed on package.

2. Cream cheese and sugar. Beat in egg and salt. Mix in chocolate chips.

3. Fill paper lined muffin cups 2/3 full with cake batter. Place 1 teaspoonful of cream mixture on top of each cupcake.

4. Bake as directed on package.
