Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds boneless chuck steak
- 2 tablespoons margarine
- 2 cups water
- 1 envelope onion soup mix
- 2 green peppers, cut in strips
- 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
Preparation
Step 1
Cut meat into thin strips 2" long.
Heat margarine and brown meat.
Stir in soup mix and water. Cover and simmer 30 minutes.
Stir in peppers. Simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes.
Blend cornstarch with 1/2 cup water. Stir into meat. Cook until thick.
