Ingredients
- 3/4 cups light corn syrup
- 2 cups brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup heavy cream
Preparation
Step 1
Place the corn syrup, brown sugar, butter and salt in a pan. Bring to boil and cook until sugar is dissolved, about 5 minutes. Allow the mixture to cool for 3-5 minutes.
Bring cream to boil in a separate saucepan. Carefully whisk cream into the sugar mixture until fully blended. Allow to cool to room temp. May keep refrigerated for up to 5 days.
