Ingredients
- 2 Cans Fruit Pie Filing (Apple, Peach, etc.
- (Excellent with 1 can Cherry and 1 can Apple)
- 1 Dry Cake Mix that Compliments Pie Filling
- (Spice Cake for Apple, etc.)
- 1 can Clear Soda (7-Up, Sprite, etc.)
- Dutch Oven
- Mixing Bowl
Preparation
Step 1
1. Place 2 cans of Pie Filling in bottom of Dutch Oven (can line with foil if desired).
2. Mix Cake Mix with Soda until all lumps are gone.
3. Pour over fruit.
4. Place 9 coals under and 15 coals on top for about 35 minutes. (Done when cake is cooked through.)
NOTE: Can bake in Conventional Oven at 375 degrees for 35 - 40 minutes.
