Grandma D's Coffeecake

Ingredients

• Filling:
• 2 1/2 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 3 eggs
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup sour cream
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/4 pound margarine
• 1/2 cup Crisco
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1/2 cup chopped nuts
• 2 teaspoons cinnamon
• 1/2 cup brown sugar

Preparation

Step 1

1. Cream margarine, Crisco and sugar. Add eggs.

2. Sift dry ingredients and add slowly with sour cream. Add vanilla and beat well.

3. Pour half of batter in a greased tube pan, sprinkle half of the filling.

4. Pour remaining batter over filling and sprinkle remaining filling on top.

5. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

6. Filling: Combine cinnamon, nuts and brown sugar
