Ingredients

  • 1 chix (~3.5 lb.) cut in 8 pieces
  • 2 T. olive oil
  • 1 onion, halved then slivered
  • 1 T. minced garlic
  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary
  • salt & pepper
  • 2/3 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 c water

Step 1

Rinse chix & pat dry. Arrange in shallow dish. Heat oil in skillet over low heat and wilt onion for 5 min. Add garlic and cook 5 min. longer. Add minced rosemary. Preheat oven to 375. Toss chix with onion mix. Season with salt & pepper/ Top with marinara. Pour water into bottom of pan and bake until chix is cooked. ( ~60 min.)
