Pork and Beans (using a 3 lb. pork roast)

Maks 12 servings. Can be cut in half.

Ingredients

  • 1 boneless pork loin roast (3 lb)
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 3 cans (15 oz. each) pork and beans
  • 1 1/2 cups BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tea. gralic powder

Preparation

Step 1

Cut roast in half; place in 5 qt. slow cooker. Top with onion.

In a large bowl, combine the beans, bbq sauce, brown sugar and garlic powder; pour overmeat.

Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or until meat is tender.

Remove roast; shred with two forks and return to slow cooker. Heat through.

Yield: 12 servings
