Blueberry sorbet

Warning...once it softens, it does not refreeze well.

Ingredients

  • 8 cups fresh blueberries, rinsed and dried
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup water

Preparation

Step 1

In a blender, puree the berries. Transfer them to a medium sized pot. Add other ingredients, bring to boil, and remove from heat. Strain into a bowl and set aside to cool; chill. Freeze in ice cream maker.
