Ingredients
- 1 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips

Preparation
Step 1
1. Cream shortening with sugars. Add eggs and vanilla.
2. Combine salt, soda and baking powder with flour and blend well
with shortening/sugar mix.
3. Stir in chocolate chips.
4. Drop dough by spoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet.
5. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Do not overbake.
