Ingredients
- 2 c. cinnamon
- 1 About 1 c. water
- 4 +T. white glue

We used Elmer's "Glue-all purpose glue". Mix cinnamon and glue together and add water until mixture is of the consistency to knead. After kneading, roll out to about 1/4-inch thickness and cut with cookie cutters. Dip finger in water to smooth rough edges. While ornament is still wet, stick the end of a drinking straw through it near the top of the cut-out to make a hole for a ribbon to hang the finished ornament. The ornaments need to AIR DRY slowly and should be turned twice a day until they are dry. Drying too quickly can cause them to crack. Dry 2 days to a week depending on the thickness and humidity. Can be decorated with paint (acrylic), but the more painted area the less its smell will be noticed (the whole purpose of using cinnamon).
