Ingredients

  • 2 pkgs. dry yeast
  • 1 c. warm milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 8 T. butter
  • 4 c. flour*
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. warm milk

Preparation

Step 1

Beat with mixer the yeast, 1 tsp. sugar, and one cup warm milk, let stand 20 minutes. Continue beating in 1/2 c. sugar, salt, eggs, butter other cup warm milk and flour. Knead in enough flour to make a soft dough. Let rise in greased bowl until doubled. Any kind of rolls can be made from this dough. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes.
*I used 4-6 cups more flour.
